New Year Thanksgiving Note

“I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me.” (Psalm 86:12-13)

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

Looking back at the year just gone by, we see that it was full of God’s favor and unfailing love! His grace and edification have always been around us and are beyond description. This year in February and March we returned to China. Co-workers from many places gathered together in Hangzhou and Wenzhou of Eastern China respectively. The main theme in these meetings was “Request for Revival in the Upper Room,” because it is only through the Holy Spirit that revival may be granted. Foremost, all of us deeply confessed and repented for our sins in the light of the Spirit. Through each daily Scripture reading, we sought the will of the Lord. We prostrated ourselves before God, praying for ourselves and interceding for the churches and the countries where we stayed, including the global countries. In this way, the more we prayed, the more fervent we became. We face this present worldly wicked evil rising to the top of the sky, like an irresistible flood. It has even infiltrated the church of God and His children, compelling us to take up the burden of struggling for the lost souls and interceding zealously and anxiously day by day. During this time, most co-workers clearly discerned the will of God and were urged by the Spirit to go to their designated places to fight vigorously.

In June we sorrowfully bid fare-well to our faithful watchman – our dearly loved elder sister En-Chung has returned to the heavenly home. In July and November we went to Warsaw, Poland. Again we had two special meetings of the same nature. Participants were from the churches or leaders of fellowship groups of the surrounding countries. Praise the Lord, the fire in the Upper Room continued to kindle and was taken to participants’ place of origin, continuing the prayer ministry and the gospel ministry of Antioch. We are especially thankful for the work in Poland. After four to five years of hard work, struggle and toil, finally in the latter half of the year, it was formally established as approved. Glory be to the Lord and Praise be to His name! In this year, our co-workers have been assigned to various countries of Europe, Japan, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong etc. for work as in previous years. At times we collaborated with the local workers. How eager is the heart of the Lord! Awaiting the new year, we pray that the Lord will enable us, all fellow workers of each place and the saints to stand firm in our faith, watch faithfully and to save people with great fervor (Jude 1:20-23)

And, together with you, let us continue to pray unceasingly, until the Lord grants us the revival to come. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

May this New Year bring you blessings upon blessings.

Enclosing here with a special quote of encouragement:
“He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich stone of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. “ (Isaiah 33:6)
